Linkzilla

Not much has been done since I last checked in at the beginning of May. The process was slow and uninteresting, and I became obsessed with something else. By the first week of June, I had my sister's wedding to go to. And a fully-loaded work schedule after that.
Now I'm up at my sister's compound while she's on her honeymoon. It's given me a chance to clear my head now that I'm away from it all. I've finally managed to get some work done.

TL;DR
I have finally finished the script for #6.
It's 17 pages long...that's 10 pages more than #5...
And I only have ten days until the end of June.
The thing about it is...if I am very diligent and incredibly lucky, I might be able to hammer this out. If I remember last year correctly, I was able to do the custom frames for everything I needed based on necessity alone...The problem there is, I started in early March and had the entire month to play with to start submitting on April 1st. But then again, I did two full-issues back then, including editing issues 2 and 3 in order to integrate the new Adeno into them to avoid continuity issues. (Surprise for those of you who didn't notice.)

The thing about it is, because I don't have ANY frames of the main characters of this issue, the comic is most likely going to have the same stock frame over and over, until I can edit them at a later date. Hope you guys aren't too miffed about that.
Right now I seem to have two options...I either book it and try to get it all done by next Friday, or I can keep working past the deadline and submit them late, after July has started. (Odds are its going to exceed 26 pages, so the entire Month would be filled.)

Further updates of the Mothra-Related Kind,
I was also planning to offset some of the Month with some Tales of the Elias Update. "The Black Mothra" is only one chapter away from being completed fully. Don't know when the sequel will begin, but I have a lot of good ideas. So maybe the idea is if I can't finish off the comic, then I'll submit the next chapter.

2. Linkzilla is the Link from Ocarina of Time, but his timeline was altered by the interference of Master Hand and the Super Smash Bros. Tournaments.

3. Linkzilla spent an entire Decade in Hell...Literally...Hell...

(he escaped)

4. During those 10 years in Hell, his son grew up without him...

(The kid has severe issues as a result.)

5. Linkzilla was expunged from the "True" Link's body in the form of manifested Evil influences (similar to how Dark Link was created); but the separation between them might not be simply Good and Evil.

(Imagine trying to fix yourself to be a better man for your girlfriend...but she actually prefers how you were before.)

6. His Super-Form (and subsequently Zelda's and Ganondorf's) are caused by the Triforce. The color of hair is determined by which respective Triforce is their nemesis. (kind of a rock-paper-scissors thing).

(It is a VERY magical form...a certain red and blue boy-scout better watch-out.)

7. *Exposition Dump*
Link found the Fierce Deity's Mask as a child. The God inside of it refused to activate until someone "worthy" wore the mask. It deemed Link worthy by realizing that Link's genetics were similar enough to its own, it could inhabit his body. The mask fused with Link and is slowly biding its time until it takes over Link's body - gradually growing stronger along with Link. But it will interfere if Linkzilla's life is put in danger. (It remained with Linkzilla after the expulsion.)

I've got things I should be doing but I don't want to do them, so I figured I'd further distract myself by doing something simple and fun. So I'll be opening a Q&A for a little while.

Round 1

To those of you who may or may not know, I am here to tell you that something MOMENTOUS has happened in my life.

I'm actually going on a Legit Vacation...

After a long and painful two semesters and a tedious summer, I am finally getting a true break. So what is it that I'm going to be doing on this vacation? I'm doing something that I thought I'd never be going on in my immediate life-time.

I am going on a CRUISE!

It's going to be great. I'm going to be gone for about five days without internet access, so I'm going to be out of contact. Tomorrow I'll be headed out to Tampa, Florida where I will disembark, spend the next two days at sea, arrive in Cozumel, Mexico on Wednesday, the Cayman Islands on Thursday, and finally back to Florida on Friday.

I have been preparing for this trip since February/March. Took a down payment of about $200 to reserve a room, $600 in installments to complete the payment over the past ten months, about $100 dollars for a Passport, and then $50 for a 'Faster-to-the-Fun' Pass. And goddamn I am going to have a good time even if it kills me. Gonna sit out on a beach in my sunglasses and hat, gonna be drinking from a coconut with an umbrella.

I'll see you guys in a week. And hopefully my head will be cleared so I'll get some new sprite ideas.

I'll be headed out on the Paradise Carnival Ship at 3 p.m. tomorrow...

I'll I can say now is, Bon Voyage...

So, ultimately the past few weeks of November were a bit busy. Home work, school work and Work-work, were all too time consuming. And whenever I wasn't doing them, I just needed a break from everything; so I jumped onto the Super Nintendo and started playing both Demon's Crest and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts - the review of which will be coming soon. (Although, I also might be feeling a terrible relapse of illness; it might just be a cold, but I still hate it.)

Fortunately, I now I have a full week off of school, and am taking most of it off from work. So apart from having to work tomorrow, I will be free the rest of the week without any distractions to work on G-Month. If I can get the next two sprites finished, I should begin submitting them before the week is out.

Till then, I will leave you with this. The plot twist for this month's G-Month is predictable...I'm surprised no one has just randomly guessed it. I kind of wish I had done this a previous year.
